Nursery & School Fees
Every fee we charge, published in full — for booking cover, for hiring permanently, and for managing your own bank staff. Effective August 2026.
Kalendit
Access to our vetted educator network when your own team can’t cover a shift. Pay-as-you-go — you’re charged only when a shift is confirmed and completed.
Booking fees
A percentage applied to each shift booked through Kalendit. High-volume clients qualify for our Gold loyalty rate.
Standard
plus VAT, on fees only
Applied to all bookings as standard.

Our loyalty rate for clients booking 160+ hours per month.
Permanent placement fees
A discovery fee applies when you hire a Kalendit educator into a permanent role at your setting.

Percentage applied to the educator’s gross annual salary. Charged once, on placement — there is no ongoing fee on that educator’s salary afterwards.
Introduction fees — bank staff contracts
A one-off fee applies when you employ a Kalendit educator on a bank staff contract of fewer than 35 hours per week, rather than a permanent role.

Contracts of 35 hours per week or more are treated as permanent placements and are charged at the discovery fee rates above.

Neither is required to use Kalendit.
Reporting dashboard. Advanced analytics, custom reporting and performance insights, with individual logins for your team. Subscribed per user and cancellable at any time.
Setup for new sites. Covers onboarding, platform training and technical setup support. Charged per site and reducing with the number of sites — see the table below.

A one-off charge per site when onboarding new sites onto Kalendit, reducing with the number of sites.

BStaff
Your group’s own app for managing and deploying your existing bank staff. Your team see only your shifts — never an open marketplace — so your pool stays yours. Sold per site, and priced separately from Kalendit.
