Supporting early years students to earn while they train

Many of our early years students want to earn money and gain experience alongside their studies. One option we’re sharing is Kalendit, an app that connects early years educators directly with nurseries across London, Surrey and Kent.

Students choose the shifts they want to work, so they can fit them around their timetable, placements and coursework. There’s no fixed commitment.

Every educator goes through Kalendit’s vetting, which includes [PLACEHOLDER: vetting steps], before working a shift. Shifts take place in registered nurseries, alongside the nursery’s own team.

To join, students need [PLACEHOLDER: eligibility]. There’s no cost to the college or university for sharing this, and we don’t pass any student details to Kalendit. Students who are interested register themselves.
